Hello! My name is Kat, and I’m best known for putting plastic toy animals in tiny crocheted sweaters, and then transforming them into earrings, necklaces, magnets, ornaments – you name it!
My goal is to recycle a form of plastic that not many people think about, and, in the process, to add some nostalgia and whimsy into folks’ jewelry collections. I scour through thrift stores, estate sales, and garage sales in Milwaukee and Madison for the majority of my stock.
Every sweater is hand-crocheted right onto the figure, and everything is crafted with care and sustainability at the forefront.
