Hello! My name is Hannah and I have been metalsmithing for over 17 years. I am a happy, and slightly crazy, momma of 3. I have worked out of my home until this spring when I moved my studio to Paoli, WI!
Now I get to leave the house (which is a big deal this year) to make and design jewelry in a BIG BRIGHT BEAUTIFUL studio that I share with my awesome friend and gallery owner Julie Walser…and even more exciting, our studio is in the same building as the Paoli Road Mercantile a *woman* owned gallery with local makers!
The metalsmithing process is so satisfying – I love that my hands are tools and am thankful for how hard they work to create meaningful and beautiful jewelry. I started out working primarily in sterling silver, but over time I started to mix different metals for a more unique look.
My jewelry has a modern feel with a clean and simple style that you can wear everyday. Colorful gemstones give personality and a pop to the pieces. I am captivated by stones and love to combine them with metal creating a contrast to highlight the beauty of both materials. Making people feel good about themselves and allowing them to express their own sense of style with my jewelry is truly an honor.
